INSURANCE DEFENSE AND WORKERS’ COMPENSATION LITIGATION

Lloyd R. (“Bud”) McCumber leads the Firm’s insurance defense practice in addition to defending workers’ compensation cases and employers’ liability claims.  Lloyd has a broad range of bench and jury trial experience in the State courts, Federal courts and before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission. 

Lloyd graduated with honors from Southern Illinois University in 1985 and received his J.D. degree from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 1988.  He was admitted to practice in Illinois in 1988, also to the United States District Court in both the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois in 1988, and to the U.S. Court of Appeals, 7^th Circuit, in 1989.  He has served as an author and lecturer at various business and professional organization seminars on workers’ compensation, employers’ liability and general liability issues.  Lloyd is a member of the American, Illinois State and Winnebago County Bar Associations and of the Trial Bar of the United States District Court, and was selected by his peers for membership in the Leading Lawyers Network.
